Downtown Portland was all abuzz with chatter Wednesday about a stunt involving a car explosion in the vicinity of Southwest Broadway and First Avenue. Twitters tweeted, a pal of mine who works in Big Pink sent me an e-mail (“They blew up a car right outside our windows…scared the you know what out of me!”), Nemo Design Group posted this video of the boom-and-smoke. Finally, everybody realized it was the crew of “Leverage,” the TNT series starring Timothy Hutton that’s filming its second season right here in the Rose City.
